Does AI recommendyour book?
Readers now ask ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini what to read. SpineRadar asks them the same questions about your book, reads your Amazon page the way a shopper does, checks the sites AI trusts, and gives you one score out of 100 with the three fixes worth most.
The books AI is recommending right now.
Every week we ask ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini the same reader questions in each genre and chart the books they name. Bestseller lists count last week's sales. These count what AI tells readers to read next.

Built by someone whose own book AI ignored.
Robert Prime runs publishing.co.uk, the UK book formatting and discovery company, and wrote google.panic.repeat. When he asked the assistants about health anxiety books, his own was named twice in 72 answers. Book Score was built to measure that gap honestly and show the way to close it. SpineRadar is its front door.

Finds your book and reads the page like a shopper
Title, subtitle, the first lines of the description, A+ panels, ratings, what the reviews say, categories, the cover at thumbnail size and the Kindle price. Eleven checks, each against Amazon's own rules from KDP's help pages.
Asks ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini what readers ask
Three questions a real reader would type, without naming the book: does the assistant know it, what are the best books of this kind, and what should someone with this reader's problem read. ChatGPT and Claude search the web live. Gemini answers from memory.
Checks where AI looks for books
Goodreads, Open Library, Wikidata, Wikipedia, YouTube, Reddit and your own website. These are the sources the assistants read and cite. A book missing from them is a book AI cannot vouch for.
| Where AI looks | Found? |
|---|---|
| Goodreads page | No |
| Open Library record | No |
| Wikidata entry | No |
| Wikipedia article | No |
| YouTube videos | No |
| Reddit discussions | Yes, 1 thread |
| Author's own website | Yes |
Scores it out of 100, by fixed rules
Forty points for what the assistants say, thirty for the Amazon page, twenty for the web around it, ten for formats. The same answers and the same page always give the same score. Parts we cannot check are left out, never counted against you.
Shows who AI picks instead of you
The books the assistants named in your place, how often, and the sites behind those answers. This is the gap the fixes close.
Ranks the fixes by points per minute
Each fix shows the points it can add and the time it takes. The free scan gives you the three worth most. The full report writes every one out, with the words ready to paste.
What your AI Shelf share means
Plain maths on the slider. The leader is the most-named book in any genre on this week's AI Shelf. Your scan measures your own share from real answers.

Three things you can hold us to
A score is a diagnosis, not a promise. Nobody can guarantee sales or rankings, and we won't.
Common questions
What do I need to give you?
Your book's Amazon link, on amazon.co.uk or amazon.com. Nothing else to start. The result opens with your email, so we can send you the report link.
What does the free scan actually run?
A real check: your Amazon page read and scored, three reader questions asked of ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini (nine real answers), and the web sources AI reads checked for your book. It takes about a minute.
Is this the same as Book Score?
Yes. SpineRadar is the front door to Book Score, the book discovery audit made by publishing.co.uk. Your report opens on bookscore.publishing.co.uk and stays there.
Can AI really change book sales?
Readers increasingly ask assistants what to read next, and the assistants name a small set of books again and again (see the AI Shelf above). Being on those lists is a route to readers. We measure it and show the fixes. We do not promise sales.
Do you log in to my KDP or Amazon account?
Never. We read public pages only. You make the changes yourself, or with us on the Done for you plan.
What about books not on Amazon?
Use the title check on Book Score. It finds the book by title and author and runs the same questions.
